Some common questions we get…
Are you Organic?
We are not Certified Organic but we do not use any pesticides or chemicals and only use heirloom varietals (no GMO). Organic Certification can be quite expensive and is site-specific limiting our ability to achieve the Certification on our current site.
How can we buy your produce?
You can register for our CSA Subscription Program and receive weekly bags of seasonal produce. We sell directly from the farm twice (2x) each week through our onsite Farm Stand and you can also visit us at the Urban Harvest Farmer’s Market each Saturday.
When can I come visit?
The best times to come by are during our Farm Stand hours on Wednesday and Saturday. We offer a number of different classes, workshops, and events so be sure to look at our Event Calendar to see all the happenings at the farm.
Do you offer tours?
Do you offer any educational opportunities for kids?
The farm offers Field Trips for students of any age to come engage in topics related to food, agriculture, sustainability, and environment.
Do you rent the farm out to others to host their own events?
Finca Tres Robles is great space for dinners, fundraisers, Weddings, birthday parties, and endless special events. We invite you and your guests to discover why Finca Tres Robles is a perfect setting for you next Private Event.
Are you a nonprofit?
We are an LLC and not a nonprofit. Farmers are small business people and, since a large part of our mission is to educate about and connect people to the realities of agriculture, we want to ensure our farm reflects that.
How can I learn about events and classes?
You can find all of the farm’s events and classes on our Events Calendar. We also recommend following us on social media or signing up for our Farm Newsletter at the bottom of this page.
Can I come volunteer on the farm?
We host Volunteer Days on the farm every third (3rd) Saturday of the month for others to contribute to and learn about the work we do. Look at our Event Calendar for the next date and contact us if you are interested in learning more about volunteer opportunities on the farm.
How can I support the farm?
PRE-K PRODUCE PROGRAM - This year-long initiative offers free produce and cooking classes aimed at providing young local pre-k students and their families with the tools necessary to develop healthy habits
CSA SUBSCRIPTION PROGRAM - Connect with your local farmers in a real and direct way by paying for a “share” of the season’s produce. In return, you receive a weekly box of produce that will contain a mix of the farm’s seasonally available produce.
DONATIONS - While we are not a nonprofit, we do strive to serve the needs of the community and would appreciate any extra support from those who recognize the importance of farming in the East End and identify with our mission. If you have items you would like to donate, please CONTACT US to inquire if these items are needed. Thank you for your generosity!
