Baby Bok Choi with Garlic

Serves: 4-6

Time ~25 minutes


1/8 cup unsalted butter

5 teaspoons minced garlic

8-12 baby bok choi

1 ½ cups chicken broth

(I like to add red pepper flakes and ginger)


  1. Melt butter in heavy large skillet over moderate heat.

  2. Add minced garlic (and ginger) and sauté about 2-3 minutes until barely golden brown

  3. Add bok choi and chicken broth and simmer until bok choi is tender, turning occasionally, about 8 minutes.

  4. Season with salt and pepper (red pepper flakes) and serve.
